This was followed by a de-stoner, which buried all the stones and larger pieces of clay, leaving a finely tilled soil for planting the potatoes. This ensures that the bags of potatoes you buy from the supermarket contain only potatoes! The final picture shows the potato planter placing the seed potatoes in drills.
